This is a hostage drama where you really can't be sure the heroes will survive, or that dark secrets won't be revealed well before the end. The Danish title, Gidseltagningen, translates literally as Hostage Crisis
- Younger, Seasons 2, 3 & 4 (Darren Star 2015–17) 15 August 2017Silly but hip sitcom that actually expects viewers to be somewhat literate (the action happens in a publishing house, and there are increasing references to some of the more bizarre recent happenings in US public life, I laugh often.
- Younger, Season 1 (Darren Star 2015) 8 August 2017From the creator of Sex and the City, but don't hold that against it. Forty year old New Jersey recent divorcee moves to Brooklyn and pretends to be 14 years younger to improve her chances of employment in publishing. She gets the job and the lifestyle. Not exactly Bergman but more interesting than the plot outline might suggest.
- Ambassadors (Jeremy Webb 2013) 7 August 2017With David Mitchell and Robert Webb and an excellent supporting cast, especially Tom Holland as an obnoxious royal in the second episode, this acerbic geopolitical comedy sadly seems to have come to an end after only three episodes.
